This is a very nice linebreeding out of some of the nicest dogs ever to come out of our kennel. This breeding focuses heavily on NSTRA CH Salty Pete v Rahhaus NAI UTI and some of his most talented sons and daughters. Pete produced several outstanding hunting dogs that went on to receive NSTRA championships, AKC Field Championships, NAVHDA utility prize Is, and NAVHDA Versatile Champions. This litter by Deuce and Lola should produce some very hard-driving dogs that should be equally talented in the field and water. We are expecting fast, wide-ranging field dogs with outstanding style and bird-finding abilities. Both Deuce and Lola pound the water and are very strong waterfowl hunters, too.

Deuce is an amazingly talented dog with an impeccable pedigree that includes many of the breed's top performers and producers. Deuce is an extremely driven dog with a big motor. He is a very fast, hard-driving field dog with very good bird finding abilities and an intense, stylish point. Like both this parents, Deuce is a very strong water dog and POUNDS the water to retrieve. He retrieves over 100 ducks and geese every season. He is a tough, mentally stable dog that takes training pressure well. In addition to his outstanding talent, Deuce has a great temperament, a phenomenal coat and some of the tightest hips in the breed.

In limited breeding, Deuce has produced some very nice puppies for us in the past. Eight of Deuce's offspring were NAVHDA NA tested with an average score of 106.5 points and one went on to score a 201/I in the NAVHDA UT test.

Lola is owned by Jim and Pat Pease of Bend, OR.

Lola is one of the most talented wirehairs we have ever produced or witnessed. She is truly a once-in-a-lifetime dog. Her desire for game is unreal. She has been a prodigy from her earliest wild bird hunts and continues to impress in every training and hunting situation thrown at her. Lola has a very aggressive, medium-to-large ranging field search. She has a spectacular nose and is an excellent bird finder. She has as much "point" as any wirehair we have seen. She honors naturally and has excellent style and intensity on game. She pounds the water and loves hunting ducks.

Lola has an excellent temperament. She is a tough, gritty dog that can handle heavy training pressure and the most difficult hunting conditions out there.

Several puppies from Lola's first litter were searching, pointing, and retrieving wild birds at 5-6 months old.

The 'Q' Litter is very genetically similar to our 'P' Litter above. This litter combines two pedigrees full of talented versatile hunting dogs and top performers in NAVHDA, NSTRA, and AKC. This is also a loose linebreeding as NSTRA CH Salty Pete v Rahnhaus NAI UTI is the grandsire of both Frida and Bron, and FC/AFC Bo Taylor v Rahnhaus is the great-grandsire of both Frida and Bron. Frida and Bron are contain that desired combination of a high drive hunting dog, yet a calm, affectionate companion and we expect the same from their puppies.

Bron is a product of two highly accomplished parents. Bron's sire, Benelli, is one of the youngest dogs to ever pass the NAVHDA invitational. Bron's dam, Gin, is both a NSTRA champion and a NAVHDA Versatile Champion. True to his lineage, Bron has not disappointed.

Bron is a very driven dog with a fast, wide-ranging field search and a relentless water entry. His duck search is incredible. He is a NAVHA NA prize I, UT prize I, and he has NSTRA points and is well on his way to a NSTRA CH.

Bron spends each fall hunting upland and waterfowl in Utah and South Dakota for his owner and breeder, Art Trujillo of Ogden, Utah.

Our first litter sired by Bron, and out of Frida's daughter Lola, produced an excellent litter of puppies for us last year. We received rave reviews on these puppies this past fall as almost all of them were searching, pointing, and retrieving upland and waterfowl for their owners at 5-6 months old. One of the male puppies had over 100 wild chukars shot over his points before he was 8 months old.

Frida is owned by Jim and Pat Pease of Bend, OR.

Frida is one of the nicest bird dogs that we have produced. At 8 months old she was already covering incredible ground, hunting intelligently and flawlessly handling birds better than most seasoned hunting dogs. I knew after the first time I hunted over her that she was something special. She is basically a black, taller, better coated version of her dam, Allie (McNally's Super Ali NAI, UTI). They have the same sweet temperament and they are both two of the fastest, most stylish wirehairs that we have ever seen in the field. They both just eat up the ground and are bird finding machines. Both Frida and Allie are also very biddable, trainable dogs that are a pleasure to have around the house.

Frida is a wide ranging field dog that excels on chukars and huns in open country. She is also a reliable waterfowl retriever in cold, icy conditions. In training, the duck search was always her strongest area, proven by her ability to earn a '4' in all four of her utility tests.

Frida and her owner Jim hunt upland and waterfowl from September to February in Oregon, South Dakota, Saskatchewan, California and Arizona.

Gus is a proven performer and producer. He has consistently been one of the top field trial performers in the breed since he was a young derby dog. More importantly, Gus' offspring are excelling in AKC field trials, NAVHDA, and as personal hunting dogs. In limited breeding Gus has produced several competitive field trial prospects. Gus consistently stamps his offspring with an incredibly strong pointing instinct, solid temperaments and strong water ability. Gus' sire, NFC FC Sure Shot's Slick Nickel, sired a litter for us several years ago that produced VC Bone Point's Elmo NAI UTI.

We selected Gus to sire this litter because of the accomplishments of his sons and daughters. He has produced a very high percentage of competitive offspring in a limited number of breedings. Gus is producing very nice field dogs with excellent style and savvy on wild game that also pound the water.

Ziva is one of the most talented dogs in our kennel. She is a very driven, determined dog that developed very early as both an upland and waterfowl hunting dog. During Ziva's first hunting season, at only 8 to 10 month old, she had one of the of the most impressive first year of hunting that we have ever had the opportunity to hunt behind. She would search out independently several hundred yards for chukars and huns and hold point for several minutes until we caught up with her. Ziva also retrieved over 100 ducks and geese during her first hunting season, including several limits on the Columbia River in December in tough winter conditions.

Ziva was just under 2 years old this past hunting season, yet you would have thought she was a seasoned veteran. Whether we were hunting ducks, pheasants, or chukars she was one of our most productive dogs.

Ziva is a tough, powerful dog that has no quit in her. She always digs a little deeper to produce that last bird. She is equally outstanding on upland and waterfowl. Her coat is extremely dense and harsh. Ziva has a very confident temperament and does great with other dogs and our young children. For a hard charging hunting dog, Ziva also does a great job of coming into the house and calmly laying on her bed. She is truly the total package dog.

Ziva is from a very successful breeding where all 7 puppies were NAVHDA natural ability tested and all 7 received prize Is with an average score over 110 points.

Ziva will be VHDF AHAE tested in the fall of 2013 and NAVHDA UT tested in 2014. She has outstanding water work and a sound temperament suited for taking extensive training and we expect big things from her in the future.
